before starting the feed, you should keep these thing handy with you A Syringe with a rubber pipe You can find this Syringe from any medical store near you and the rubber pipe, you can get from the tire shop or a store near you you also might find this from motorcycle puncture shop you need a spoon A bowl, in which you prepare the feed I have this feed, it's a Zupreem feed I bought in lose it usually come in a packet, full packet is expansive but you also can get in quarter or half quarter KG available like this in the market so I bought in lose because I have only one baby, so no use of buying in a big quantity and as soon as it will finish, I will go buy more So it's a Zupreem feed we have beside this you can also buy Kaytee feed that also you can use to feed small parrot babies Also I have this Tissue Paper to clean it's beak wile feeding OK, let start it in this, first of all one spoon, according to baby size the age of the baby i have is around approximately 3 weeks old so I'm using one spoon to feed one time i need to feed him 3 times in a day so I'm telling you for 1 time feed Ok now you need to add lukewarm water OK, here is the lukewarm water let's add little a bit like this and mix thoroughly that it becomes like runny if it a bit thick than add more water as this is a bit thick, so let's mix more water mix thoroughly like I'm doing mix thoroughly let's add more water OK as you mix, it become thicker add water as you go when you see, it mixed properly then you need to suck it in the Syringe let suck it in the Syringe let's mix it a bit more and suck in the syringe try your best to get in as much as possible water with food and it is more then enough it have water and food both Ok.

Just keep it a bit close to the beak and start pressing it it slowly start going inside don't rush it press gently food will travel inside slowly take a break, let it digest what inside already if you feed by holding the beak then it will become very easy and maximum food will went inside OK, about the rubber pipe OK, I'm pressing gently and food it traveling inside slowly and I take pauses in between so what is already in, he can properly take it inside and as you can see underneath it crop, right here it slowly getting filled as you can see here, before it was empty, now it start getting filled as food is going inside, when it is filled then stop feeding OK, about the Pipe I was telling you you need to make sure it fixed tightly with the Syringe. try to apply super glue other wise what have seen is that if it is entered too much inside wile feeding, or if the pipe size is too small so what have seen is that sometime pipes drop inside the crop then it will becomes very difficult to take it out and if not removed on time, then you parrot could die Ok, as you can see, it's crop is getting full as I continue to feed.
About Kaytee or Zupreem feed although I heard you prepare for a day and feed 3 time , store in fridge and warm it before feed but what I suggest, either it's Kaytee or Zupreem whatever you are feeding, just make as much as you need for single serving I think and also heard from many other if you leave it for a longer time after preparing then it will not stay health for the parrot, it's kind of become poison so just prepare only for a single serving OK what are the benefits for a good feed like Kaytee or Zupreem, why it is necessary because look, it is just like it a baby parrot I have seen in bird's market that breeders feed biscuits mixed with water or I have seen them, feeding 3 fruit cerelac (human baby food) as well look it will survive on that as well it will keep them alive but growth of your baby will be better off with Zupreem or Kaytee feed only as they are made specially to hand feed these type of baby bird's there are 2 or 3 reasons for that one they grow better with these recommended feed's secondly they will develop better feather colors and the reason why you keeping parrot as a pet is that you parrot will speak well and learn that will be achieve better coz it helps develop better mental health the ingredients of these feeds are very good because of that they grow better so i recommend, it is bit expansive you try your best to feed Kaytee or Zupreem to your baby bird's he is very hungry I'm feeding it more and more slowly i pause in between so whatever it has eaten will be digested although it seems to be full now as you can see it's crop filled already, but if it is asking more you can feed a bit more.
These birds are always pretend to be too hungry if you feed 10 times they will eat 10 times but you don't need to feed a lot, only give as much as necessary for a single feed don't try to over feed your bird I'm not pressing now it is trying to eat what's on the pipe OK about the feed you need to give 3 times in a day like one in the morning then in afternoon and last in the evening like this you can feed them thrice and the baby this age can take in the Syringe a feed of 10ml to 15 ml can be give in single serving you can see marking on it so 10ml to 15ml feed at a time is more then enough don't ever overdose and you need to do the same till the age of 2 months mean assume if you bring baby of this age means a 2 weeks old baby it feeds like this, till the age of 2 months by your hand and then you can star soft food or may be you can star giving fresh corns or you may start giving pulses soak it for some time and feed buy mashing with your hand then you start giving such diets.
