गुरुनानक Saheb के पास एक आदमी

 गया और उसने कहा बताईये गुरूजी

 जीवन का मूल्य क्या है?

गुरूनानक ने उसे एक Stone दिया 

और कहा , जा और इस stone का 

मूल्य पता करके आ , लेकिन ध्यान 

रखना stone को बेचना नही है I

वह आदमी stone को बाजार मे एक

 संतरे वाले के पास लेकर गया और

 संतरे वाले को दिखाया l

बोला "बता , इसकी कीमत क्या है?

संतरे वाला चमकीले stone को देख 

कर बोला, "12 संतरे लेजा और इसे 

मुझे दे जा" 

वह आदमी संतरे वाले से बोला गुरू 

ने कहा है इसे बेचना नही है l

और 

आगे एक सब्जी वाले के पास गया, 

उसे stone दिखाया l सब्जी वाले ने 

उस चमकीले stone को देखा और

 कहा "एक बोरी आलू ले जा और 

इस stone को मेरे पास छोड़ जा"

उस आदमी ने कहा , मुझे इसे बेचना 

नही है , मेरे गुरू ने मना किया है I

आगे एक सोना बेचने वाले सुनार के 

पास गया उसे stone दिखाया सुनार

 उस चमकीले stone को देखकर बोला

 "50 लाख मे बेच दे" l उसने मना कर

 दिया तो सुनार बोला "2 करोड़ मे दे दे 

या बता इसकी कीमत जो माँगेगा वह

 दूँगा तुझे

उस आदमी ने सुनार से कहा मेरे गुरू

 ने इसे बेचने से मना किया है l

आगे हीरे बेचने वाले एक जौहरी के पास

 गया उसे stone दिखाया l जौहरी ने जब

 उस बेसकीमती रुबी को देखा , तो पहले

 उसने रुबी के पास एक लाल कपडा

 बिछाया फिर उस बेसकीमती रुबी की

 परिक्रमा लगाई माथा टेका l फिर जौहरी

 बोला , "कहा से लाया है ये बेसकीमती

 रुबी

"सारी कायनात , सारी दुनिया को बेचकर

 भी इसकी कीमत नही लगाई जा सकती 

ये तो बेसकीमती है l"

वह आदमी हैरान परेशान होकर सीधे गुरू

 के पास आया l अपनी आप बिती बताई

 और बोला

"अब बताओ गुरूजी मानवीय जीवन का

 मूल्य क्या है?

गुरूनानक बोले :

तूने पहले stone को संतरे वाले को

 दिखाया उसने इसकी कीमत 

"12 संतरे" की बताई l

आगे सब्जी वाले के पास गया उसने 

इसकी कीमत "1 बोरी आलू" बताई l

आगे सुनार ने "2 करोड़" बताई l

और 

जौहरी ने इसे "बेसकीमती" बताया l

अब ऐसे ही तेरा मानवीय मूल्य है lतू बेशक हीरा है लेकिन सामने वाला तेरा आकलन अपनी औकात अपनी जानकारी और अपनी हैसियत और मकसद से लगाएगा। घबराओ मत दुनिया में तुझे पहचानने वाले भी मिल जायेगे।

A man near Gurunanak Saheb

 Went and he said tell me master

 What is the value of life?

 Guru Nanak gave him a stone

 And said, Ja and this stone

 Know the price, but pay attention

 Do not sell the stone.

 The man in the stone market

 Took the orange one and

 Showed the orange

 Said "tell me, what is its price?

 Looking at the bright orange stone

 Kar said, "Take 12 oranges and call it

 Give me "

 The man spoke to the orange teacher

 Has said not to sell it.

 And

 Went ahead to a vegetable person,

 Showed him the stone.

 Saw that shiny stone and

 Said "take a sack potato and

 Leave this stone with me "

 The man said, sell me this

 No, my teacher has refused.

 Next to a goldsmith selling gold

 Went near showed him a goldsmith

 Said on seeing that shiny stone

 "Sell it for 50 million". He refuses

 The goldsmith said, "Give me 2 crores.

 Or tell what it will ask for its price

 Will give you

 The man told the goldsmith my teacher

 Has refused to sell it.

 Next to a jeweler selling diamonds

 Gaya showed him the stone. When the jeweler

 Saw that precious ruby, so first

 He has a red cloth near Ruby

 Laid again that precious ruby

 Circled the forehead. Then the jeweler

 Said, "Where have you brought this price from

 Ruby

 "The whole work, by selling to the whole world

 Also it cannot be priced

 It is a priceless thing. "

 The man was shocked and upset, directly the teacher

 Came to

 And said

 "Now tell Master about human life

 What is the price?

 Guru Nanak said:

 You gave the first stone to the orange

 He showed its price

 Told of "12 oranges".

 He went to the vegetable man

 Its price was "1 sack potato".

 The goldsmith further said "2 crores".

 And

 The jeweler described it as "base".

 Now you have a human value like this. You are definitely a diamond, but your assessment in front will determine your status with your knowledge and your status and purpose.  Do not panic, you will also find those who recognize you in the world.
